After Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team develops Silent Hill 1 Remake
Konami confirmed that a remake of the first Silent Hill is being developed. Bloober Team will be responsible for the production.

During yesterday's stream dedicated to future Konami games, another title from the Silent Hill series was announced. Although no gameplay footage or even a short trailer was presented, it was revealed that a remake of the first installment of the well-known horror series is being made. The moment when the game's title is visible and the music from the original can be heard concluded the Konami Press Start presentation.
Bloober Team is making Silent Hill 1 Remake
The game is being developed by the Polish studio Bloober Team, the developers of the 2024 edition of Silent Hill 2. It has been known for some time that Bloober Team is working with Konami on the next game. However, in February of this year, the studio only mentioned that they are continuing their collaboration with a Japanese company, but they didn't reveal the specific project at that time.
Although absolutely no details were revealed about the remake during Konami Press Start, a handful of information was previously included in the reports of the Bloober Team company. We know, for example, that the project currently known under the code name "Project G," the old-new iteration of Silent Hill, will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The remake of the sequel was released only on PS5 and personal computers (so far).
Furthermore, Bloober Team studio is set to receive remuneration from Konami for achieving subsequent milestones in the production process of Silent Hill 1 Remake. We will receive more information about the title announced today at a later time. At this moment, even the approximate release date of the remake isn't known.
Footage from Silent Hill f
It's also worth mentioning Silent Hill f from NeoBards Entertainment, which was also featured in today's Konami stream. The developers of this action-oriented psychological horror game shared a short behind-the-scenes video, in which they explain that the game returns to the roots of the Silent Hill series and includes the "essence of Japanese horror."
The creators of Silent Hill f mentioned that the game stays true to the essence and tradition of the series by featuring a protagonist who is just an ordinary person, and the game's setting, Japan, is meant to terrify the player with disturbing views.
The hallmark of Japanese horror is not simply grotesqueness, but the coexistence of beauty and the disturbing. We are creating this title with the concept: 'Find the beauty in terror' - said Motoi Okamoto, one of the developers of Silent Hill f.
In Silent Hill f, players will encounter many creepy enemies that will make them feel uneasy but also curious. It was also emphasized that the game is to be heavily focused on action (more so than, for example, Silent Hill 2 Remake).
Silent Hill f will be released on September 25th this year on PS5, XSX/S, and PC.
